This series started in 2016 proposes an overview of some of the nicest buildings of the French capital gilded of their facade. The obverse of this 10€ silver coin presents a view of the gates of the château de Versailles. The obverse portrays the central portion of the gates. In the background, a view of the Palace of Versailles from the garden side. The coin is enhanced by a gold deposit on the gates central portion close-up.
