200 euro – Wedding of the Prince of Asturias

A historic event has taken place in the spring of 2004, namely, the wedding of His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias, Felipe de Borbón y Grecia, and Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano. To commemorate this outstanding event collector coins with face values of 10 and 200 Euros has been approved, minted and released. The obverse reproduces the overlapping effigies of Their Majesties King Juan Carlos and Queen Sophia. The reverse portrays His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias, Felipe de Borbón y Grecia, and Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano.
