2.5 euro – FIFA World Cup South Africa

To celebrate the FIFA World Cup – South Africa 2010, the INCM is issuing a magnificent commemorative coin, in silver, with proof finishing, designed by the sculptor Carlos Marques. The coin celebrates the football festival on a world scale, as well as the presence of the Portuguese national team at this most important event. With a face value of €2.50, the coin symbolizes on both faces a crowd celebrating, confused with the African continent itself, which in this way exudes joy and happiness, with the national elements of the coin also highlighted. Finally, on the reverse, the official symbol of the competition is visible.
