100 euro – Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol (1928-1987) became the leader of the Pop Art movement and one of the most important artists of the 20th century. Among his most famous works are the silkscreen prints of American stars or political leaders. His work “Dollar Sign” is another symbol of his production. On the obverse is a representation of “Dollar Sign”, the date of its completion (1981) and Warhol’s signature. The reverse features a portrait of the artist, the dates of his life (1928-1987) and the face value.
