in the upper part, to the right, the images of the "Bull's Head" postage stamps with face value of para 54, para 81 and para 108, bordered above and to the right by two lines suggesting the corner of a letter; in the lower part, to the left, Romania's coat-of-arms inside two concentric circles, partly overlapping the images of the stamps, suggesting a postal seal; the inscription "ROMANIA" is engraved between the two circles, above the coat-of-arms; to the left of the coin, the vertical inscription "2008" and in the lower part, the face value, i.e. "10 LEI".
