10 euro – The Winter Olympic Games 2006

From February 10 to 26, 2006 the 20th Winter Olympic Games will be held in the Italian city of Turin. To commemorate this sporting event, the FNMT-RCM has been authorized to mint and release into circulation a silver coin with a face value of 10 Euros. Obverse and reverse 8-reales silver The Winter Olympic Games 2006Minted in proof quality and in silver, the collector coin for the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics portrays H.M. King Juan Carlos I on the obverse, while the reverse features a skier during the slalom descent.
