10 euro – 2nd Series Spanish Painters – Dalí - Retrospective Bust of a Woman
Series: Spain – Silver 10 euro coins
The obverse, common to the three silver 8-real coins, reproduces the central scene from the painting "Self-Portrait with l'Humanité" (1923). In this work Dali paints himself dressed as a laborer and acting like an agitator, thus attesting to his admiration for the revolutionary ideas of the time. The reverse of this first 8-real coin that has been given a 10-euro face value depicts the work "Retrospective Bust of a Woman" (1933).
