Nicaragua is the country in which baseball is considered nation-wide to be the "king of sports" since the first professional baseball league was inaugurated in 1956. The reverse of the coin bears the image of a baseball player. The obverse features the Nicaraguan coat-of-arms centered, surrounded by the coats-of-arms of the other participating countries.
