2.5 euro – Coin of D. Pedro

The «Numismatic Treasures» series recreates rare national coins using today´s most advanced technology. In 2023, INCM issues the «Dom Pedro» collectible coin, reinterpreted by the sculptor Rui Vasquez. This coin is one of the results of the technological transition that marks the change from hammer minting to balancé minting, a technique that allowed pieces to be minted in series with more perfect finishes.
