50 litas - Vilnius Upper Castle

The centre of the obverse of the coin features the national emblem depicted on a shield. At the top, the national emblem is semi-circled by the inscription LIETUVA (Lithuania), while the inscription of the year 2011 runs on both sides of the emblem. Below the national emblem, an element of the brick wall of the Castle, with the inscription 50 LITŲ (50 litas) below it, is depicted. The reverse of the coin features a stylised Vilnius Upper Castle in the background of the city. It is semi-circled at the top by the inscription VILNIAUS AUKŠTUTINĖ PILIS (Vilnius Upper Castle).
