It is encircled with the inscriptions LIETUVA (Lithuania) and 50 LITŲ (50 litas). The year 2008 is displayed on the right. St Casimir on the reverse of the coin is semi-circled by the inscriptions 1458–1484 and ŠV. KAZIMIERAS (St Casimir).
