Obverse: in the upper section, some historical buildings of the city of Bergamo: Galgario Tower, the Baptistery of the Cathedral, San Giacomo Gate (Porta San Giacomo) and Palazzo della Ragione; in the centre, some historical buildings of the city of Brescia: the Castle, also known as “Falcone d’Italia” (The Italian Eagle), Palazzo della Loggia and the “Capitolium”; in the section below, on the left, a decorative motif drawn from the mosaic floor of the Domus dell’Ortaglia of ancient “Brixia”, an archaeological site which preserves traces of the most ancient remains of Brescia; on the right, detail of a capital of the Palazzo della Ragione.
