19 June 2014 was a date of historic importance: the Proclamation of H.M. Felipe VI as King of Spain. In 2024, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of this important event, The Royal Spanish Mint is dedicating a coin collection to the Spanish Royal Family. The obverse depicts the portrait of His Majesty King Felipe VI and the legend FELIPE VI KING OF SPAIN. The reverse shows an image of the Royal Crown, which is kept in the Royal Palace in Madrid, and the legend X ANNIVERSARY OF THE PROCLAMATION.
