On the obverse, in the centre of the coin and within a circle, the obverse of a piece of eight Escudos by Philip IV, minted in 1632, is reproduced. Outside the central circle, the data referring to this collector coin appear: on the left, the mint mark and, above it, in an ascending circular direction and in capital letters, the legend SPAIN 2019; below the mint mark, in a descending circular direction and in capital letters, the value of the piece, 100 EURO. A pearl milling surrounds all motifs and legends. On the back of the coin, occupying the entire space of the coin, is reproduced the back of the piece of eight Escudos of Philip IV of 1632.
