10 rubles - The 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Maxim Tank
The coins are round in shape with the raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coins’ edge is ribbed.
The obverse has: at the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center – the stylized image of the landscape: a tree, a meadow, and cranes; the inscriptions: at the top– circumferential inscription РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom – denomination: 10 РУБЛЁЎ (TEN RUBLES) on the silver coin and 1 РУБЕЛЬ (ONE RUBLE) on the copper–nickel one; on the right – the year of issue: 2012; on the left (on a silver coin) - alloy standard.
The reverse has: on the right – the relief image of a classic of the Belarusian literature Maxim Tank sitting at the table; on the left – the stylized image of the Belarusian landscape: a meadow, a lake, and birds hovering in the sky; at the bottom – the inscriptions in two lines: МАКСIМ ТАНК (MAXIM TANK) and 1912-1995 (the years of life).
